Lucky Prescott is a spirited girl. She inherited her love for horses and spectacular adventures from her mother, who was a big name as a stunt rider in the small town of Miradero. One day, little Lucky pushes her luck a bit too much, which leads her Aunt Cora to decide to take Lucky back to her father Jim in Miradero. In the sleepy village, Lucky doesn't expect any adventures, but when she meets the wild mustang Spirit, a new chapter begins: she befriends the proud horse, makes new friends, and has to save Spirit's herd from a nasty horse breeder.
