Elja, the young Icelandic pony girl, is already quite big. At least, that's what she thinks! That's why she wants to go on a big discovery tour with her dad. Together they explore Iceland, while the curious Elja peppers her dad with questions. They learn everything about the island, life as a semi-wild horse, and experience a huge adventure. The second story is even more tumultuous: In her new home, Elja learns everything about life on a horse farm, the different sports and horse breeds.
