Emil Grünbär, a good-natured fellow who cares deeply about nature and its preservation, is a character from the Janosch universe. He has been brought back to life exclusively for this Tonie figure. Together with the elegant Dolli Graygoose and the sleepy dog Rüdi von Lieberbaum, he sets off because adventure is calling him. Along the way, they discover that they have a lot to set right in the forest – not least because of us humans. This Tonie tells two stories in approximately 60 minutes: In "The Treehouse," a tree falls in front of the friends, and they meet Ella the forest cat. Is Ella's treehouse next to be felled? In "The Ant Queen," Emil and his friends help an ant queen repair her damaged anthill. Their adventure also takes them to a nearby school.
