Race car Lightning McQueen is on his way to the Piston Cup when he falls out of his trailer and gets lost in the small, sleepy desert town of Radiator Springs. He causes a lot of chaos, which he has to fix before he can continue his journey. Annoyed, he sets to work, wanting to leave this sleepy little town as quickly as possible. But soon he realizes that Radiator Springs and its inhabitants have more to offer than he thought.
