Michael Ende's most famous story has been one of the most important German youth stories for over 40 years. "Antiquariat" is written on the glass door of the small shop that Bastian Balthasar Bux stumbles into one day. And there, the boy discovers a book that will change his life: "The Neverending Story". The wonderful land of Fantastica begins to dissolve. When the Childlike Empress learns of this, she becomes gravely ill. Young Atreyu is tasked with finding the cure for her and saving Fantastica. And he is not only helped by the luck dragon Falkor. Bastian, too, will eventually play an important role in the story of the book.
